Back To Mail ArchivesIssue Number : 42 - Bulletin Board, Bookstore Additions
I received a lot of appreciative reactions concerning the selection of newspaper and magazine clips that I posted recently recording the swings in global hysteria from doom by freezing in the 1890s to roasting in the 1930s, freezing in the 1970s, and now back yet again. So instead of retiring the post from the Comment column and leaving it at that, I've put it on the Bulletin Board under the heading "Familiar Tunes."
Two Faces of Tomorrow
We now have copies of the August, 2006, 572-page omnibus graphic novel edition by Dark Horse Books in the ManyWorlds catalog a special price of $16.00. Listed in the Bookstore here.
Books on Global Warming science
I've also received a number of requests for recommendations on books giving facts and figures, and accordingly have added the following titles to the Heretics list in the bookstore, with links to for both Hardcover editions and Paperback editions at amazon.com and amazon.co.uk where applicable.
Unstoppable Global Warming every 1500 years, by Dennis T. Avery and S. Fred Singer
Meltdown, by Patrick J. Michaels
The Satanic Gases, by Patrick J. Michaels
Shattered Consensus, by Patrick J. Michaels
Hot Talk, Cold Science, by S. Fred Singer
I don't pretend that my list is comprehensive. Suggestions for further additions are welcome.
Politics Section
I've also added Jimmy Carter's new book Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid to the Bookstore as my own response to the smearing and badmouthing that seems to be invariably attracted these days by anyone daring to raise issues considered politically incorrect.
Thanks again to all for your ongoing interest.
